Welcome to the Food Shelf
The Morrison County Food Shelf is a ministry of God's people for God's people. In response to Christ's command to "love our neighbor," the Food Shelf exists to provide emergency and supplemental food to people who lack sufficient resources to feed themselves. The Food Shelf also seeks to provide referral and educational information to its clients and patrons.
FoodShare collected 9.1 million pounds of food and dollars combined to restock food shelves across the state.
236,652 children served by MN Food Shelves in the 1st Qtr of 2009 compared to 191,756 in 2008.
There are more than 300 food shelves in Minnesota, serving every county in the state.
